Blogs Rushing to get BlogRush

A few of days ago I signed up for BlogRush to use on TSPNsports.com and today for this site (see the BlogRush graphic in the right sidebar at the bottom). In case you haven’t heard, blog owners and publishers have created a huge wave to have this tool added to their blogs with hopes that it will increase traffic to their blogs.

The Revolution News theme is an ideal and inexpensive solution for anyone wanting to quickly create an online newspaper. The theme as is, is a great solution out the box. Just think what one can do when you add a couple of plugins.
I am fortunate to be in a position to collaborate with Brian from time to time when working with some of my clients. He is indeed a “revolutionary“.
TSPNsports.com Makes The Performancing Top 20

I am currently using the free trial of PMetrics for TSPNsports.com to see if it is worth the monthly price of $6.00 (actually its $5.99). I can’t say that I am overly impressed with it at this point, but I was somewhat intrigued by the incoming link I got from Performance indicating that TSPNsports.com is #13 on the Performancing Top 20 as of the time of this post.
Performancing ranks the most heavily visited websites using its pMetrics blog statistics software. The top 20 pMetrics premium blogs are ranked according to site visitors:
From September 10th (the day we installed the software) through September 13th, TSPNsports.com generated 9785 site visitors and 5245 uniques.
Rashad Interactive Announces Name Change of The SWAC Page Network to TSPNsports.com

One of the Largest and Oldest HBCU Sports Web Sites on the Internet has a New name, New Look and New Focus
Flower Mound, TX – The website once called The SWAC Page Network and popularly known by most as TSPN, previously located on the Web at www.SWACpage.com, is now called TSPNsports.com - a wholly owned subsidiary of Rashad Interactive, LLC.
TSPNsports.com is currently one of the largest and most visited HBCU sports information and fan sites on the Internet generating over 1.3 million page views per month. Since August 1997 the website has been the primary source for HBCU sports information featuring the 10 schools of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). However, after the site officially changed its name to TSPNsports.com on August 28, 2007, its coverage extended beyond the SWAC to include all athletic conferences and schools under the HBCU sports umbrella.
